Even brown chests can contain items worth having, and sometimes have a key inside as well. There are two chests on every floor. One contains a gun, the other an item. Any chests which drop upon clearing a room may contain an item or a gun. Sometimes chests that drop are already unlocked. If a chest is breathing, its a mimic.You should be able to see part of the chest in the mirror. It's hidden in the room, so just go around mashing the use key (default "E" if using a keyboard). so I was playing gungeon and being ♥♥♥♥ at it like always when I find a glitched chest. It was one of those black skull chests but it was spazzing out with a glitch effect. I open that chest and then I teleport to a floor with only a boss room.
