Volunteers are an important part of Banner Health's mission of making health care easier, so life can be better. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, ranging from high school students to adults to seasonal visitors and retirees. Our volunteers work directly with people and provide behind the scenes support. Two teen volunteer programs exist for high school students, including a Summer Teen Volunteer Program and Medical Explorers Club. Adults aged 18 can join the main volunteering branch if ready to commit to a minimum six-month or 100-hour commitment. Service-oriented positions and patient-focused opportunities are available.
